IAPT member Tom Beaudoin (Fordham University) is the President of the Association of Practical Theology (APT), based in the USA. He has announced the APT 2016 Biennial Conference, with the theme “Live, Move, and Have Being: Migration and Practical Theology,” which will be held 8-10 April in New York City, at the United Nations Church Center and at Fordham University.

The conference Theme, Schedule, and Call for Papers can now be found at the APT website: www.practicaltheology.org with regular updates also at the APT Facebook page: www.facebook.com/practicaltheology

Note: The Call for Papers is open only until 17 December 2015! Registration for the conference opens in early December. There will be three plenaries (Migration and Practical Theology; Black Lives Matter and Practical Theology; and Global Ecumenical Perspectives on Migration) and the opportunity to hear about new research on migration and practical theology, to enjoy New York City, and to share the company of many practical theology colleagues at what we anticipate will be a lively conference on a very timely topic.
